NOT OUR GIRLS I NOT ON OUR WATCH
Making Lemon-Aid’s Refuge Initiative was born out of a passion and commitment to meet the immediate, real-time needs of vulnerable girls ages 12-18 in Douglas and Sarpy Counties in Nebraska who have been rescued from trafficking for commercial sex. The initiative has now brings together a multi-disciplinary advisory team of professionals across multiple states who are committed to action and seeing the lives of children restored. The Refuge will serve as a sanctuary, offering crucial trauma-informed, faith-based support for healing. Our program stands as a pioneering effort in the state of Nebraska, providing a nurturing residential environment for overcomers with complex needs.

70–75% of these individuals show signs of being underage or controlled by a third party—both indicators of trafficking

You are invited to activate your networks and help Stuff The House for our Refuge Campus. Each donation will support our home-- providing hope and healing for girls aged 12-18 who are survivors of trafficking for commercial sex.
Your business (or you, individually) can sponsor the event for logo and verbal recognition in local media. Contact Jessica or Marcy for how YOU can help or for more information!
